Re: Johanne GC V2 by Stefan Højgaard [New Course]

Sure I remember those reviews - weekly in-depth review of many of the new courses, with a fine mix of constructive critisism and personal taste. And you're right DC about that's how designers got better. I remember the review of my first course (Wedels Grove) by Bad Boy and Fab - the course got hamm...

Re: Johanne GC V2 by Stefan Højgaard [New Course]

Wow LL. That review is better than the actual course. And btw I don't belive you for a second when you say you had an hour to do all that (playing the course, taking snapshot, writing the review...), so thanks for taking precious time to getting it done (two kids doesn't leave much time for things l...

Re: Johanne GC V2 by Stefan Højgaard [New Course]

Thanks to you two also (DC#1 and ADC) for commenting on the course.

It's nice to see that you all seem to enjoy the course - it makes it worth while to have done the update.

After a long time I actually took time today to finish the course - it's being uploaded as I type this.
I hope you enjoy the changes...

Re: Hello

I worked a bit on the 6th and 16th the last few days - nothing big, just minor changes. I've also added another panorama and another greentexture (with slightly more spin).

I agree with you sandwedge that the course looks a bit barren at places. This is the next thing I'll loook into.

Re: Hello

Thanks DC

I'll take your thoughts into consideration. I'll especially look into the idea of lowering the area to the front right of the 16th green to make the green bunkers visible - I like that idea.

Re: putting

There is no praragraph in the official rules of golf dictating which club to use where. You can use your wedge on the green, your driver in the bunker and your putter from the tee if you like. I don't know how things are in the US though, but in Denmark several golf clubs have local rules stating th...

Re: Hello

Update: I've made the first couple of changes by now. Biggest change is on the 18th. As it is now it just doesn't ply as I intented it - I want the player to be able to cut the corner with a well placed drive, so I've removed some of the trees to open up for the tee shot. I've also redesigned the la...
