Re: Let me update my status...

Thanks Alex, Clarkston is one of my favorites also. I thought I did a good job capturing the feel of late September/early October golf here in MI. I live about 30 miles north of Detroit, but I will be naming my courses after places all over the state. However don't expect the courses to resemble the...

Re: Let me update my status...

Yep, that damn game is so time consuming!!

But as far as the name of my next release, I haven't decided yet. I did decide to name all of my future releases after places around my home state of MI. So you may have to wait until the course is released ;)

Let me update my status...

I thought I'd give everyone an update on what I have (and haven't) been cooking up for this year. Its been a while since I've really had a presence on here, but I haven't gone anywhere. Between playing Modern Warfare 3 and the new Elder Scrolls game, I haven't had much interest in designing.(damn vi...

Re: Rotate Tool

With the rotate tool active, hitting Ctrl-C will do the same thing if I'm not mistaken. Or maybe Ctrl-Shft-C??

Re: Tiger Back in the Winners Circle

I have always been a fan of Tiger, but Tiger the golfer not Tiger the slut! His talent on the golf course has always been something to behold. Other than the swing changes, I believe this bad stretch he's been in is a result of him just not playing golf. It wouldn't surprise me that after the whole ...

Re: Royal Melbourne

Yep, exactly what I had in mind Indy! Keep in mind it doesn't have to be a hole, it could be a single bunker or a water feature even.

Keep it up Craig, I love the style of this course, a Mackenzie masterpiece!!

Re: New contest idea

Ok, I should explain further. I don't intend for any of the submissions for this contest to be "playable". I thought it could be a good way for designers to hone their skills in certain areas and to test their creativity. It would go like this: - I (or whoever) posts a pic of a certain fea...

New contest idea

I thought of a new idea for a design contest that may appeal to more people, mainly because it doesn't require nearly the amount of time and effort as a normal contest would. Basically, it will be a monthly contest in which anyone who wants to participate will attempt to recreate a specific part/hol...

Re: Update on Top 100 list

Thanks Dar, I do agree that rating courses is very subjective. I suppose the real reason I'm taking this on is so I myself have a list of go-to courses whenever I need some inspiration or just want to play a round or two on a top-notch course. I realize some people won't agree on my list, but maybe ...

Update on Top 100 list

I mentioned in another post a while back that I was starting to compile a list of my top 100 courses. I have painfully opened every single course available (as of about 2 months ago), and narrowed my list down to roughly 395 courses. Now comes the hard part, actually playing several rounds on each a...
