Mac

Hey gang,

Two quick questions:

1) Does PGA2000 work on Mac?
2) I have my original PC game disks but is there a way to download the game? (as my MacBook Air has no DVD drive...)

Cheers,
LL

Re: Abernathy V2

Steve - what an awesome trip down memory lane! :) You were always one of my favourite designers from the very beginning in PGA - a real inspiration - so it was a pleasure updating Abernathy with a more modern library and some of the techniques we've evolved over the years. Lovely to see you back on ...

Re: Kruger National Golf Links

Totally ground to a halt on this I'm afraid guys. Work and young family continues to take up 100% of my time and really can't imagine getting this over the line. - It has a custom library including new textures / pano and custom objects hippos / crocodiles / sprinkboks / lions etc. - All 18 are desi...

Yeah - you'll need plenty of water, sun cream and an elephant gun - just in case... ;)

Re: Post your last designwork

Pye - love the ambition and dedication to creating a spectacular and realistic view. This grab is awesome - been looking at it for a while. Love the waterfalls - they are the single most difficult thing to recreate in PGA and you've done an amazing job here. Planting also great, view = AWESOME. Not ...

Re: So, what are you up too?

David - you really are a machine mate. Admire your dedication despite the dwindling returns in d/l etc. Great stuff. Also agree with you on the real course renditions... msmvet - lovely news we have more architects coming in :) Good luck with your new course - you're picking a great track. Any help ...

Re: Green sky wrinkled paper

DC - did you get sorted here? Some great potential fixes already mentioned here. I've had times when even these haven't resolved the problem you're seeing. In those cases my last resort is to pick up all shapes on the hole, put a larger ring around the hole - make a few low level smooths, optimise o...

Re: new courses

Don't want to get any new course hopes up, but there's a chance I might actually finish Kruger National. On the last hole - loads of planting / play-testing and tweaks required, but I may actually finish after starting in March 2013 :)
