Re: So, what are you up too?

Installed PGA Championship Golf 2000 and have been loving every minute of it! I forgot how much fun it is and how beautiful the photo-realistic trees, sky, and textures can be. It's a joy! I was proud to be part of its creation and I'm even more proud today because it stands up to the test of time.....

Re: Abernathy V2

It's been more than a few years...but just in case someone checks this thread....I love the re-do of Abernathy Park! THIS re-do was EXACTLY the WHOLE point of us including the architecture files in the CD. Headgate asked if we (the course design consultants) would do that and Jim, Ken and I stepped ...

Re: A New Opfer Design?

There is an occasional crashing bug but you should be able to complete rounds most of the time. I had trouble with Barren Valley as well though. It would get stuck and crash when I holed out on a hole. Not sure why because nobody else did when we played it online. It looks like a great game, but I ...

Re: Deleting swap files in Windows 8

The swap files are at C:\SIERRA\PGA2000 Titanium\SwapFiles. Deleting everything out of that folder and cloaking libraries was always what did the trick for me when I had this problem. Sorry, I probably should have gone into more details before. It's possible an uninstall leaves behind the swap file...

Re: game won't install

I don't know, I didn't have that problem installing on Windows 8. I don't know about 8.1 but I wouldn't think there would be a big difference. Read my "deleting swap files" thread. Windows 8 and 8.1 is "creepy" in what it remembers/records about what you're doing on the system. ...

Re: Deleting swap files in Windows 8

Whew! System Restore finally did it. Had to dump AVG AntiVirus in order to get it done. No big deal since I can download it for free, but AVG kept preventing the system restore from finishing because it would try to load up automatically during restart before the restore could finish. I also moved A...

Re: Deleting swap files in Windows 8

A little follow-up...."Deep scan" using Toolbox found another 167 registry keys related to Sierra and Sierra-Online and I deleted those, but--alas--a reboot and reinstall later and I'm back at square one: blank slots in the Course Manager and only two libraries loaded in the architect...in...

Deleting swap files in Windows 8

I've uninstalled PGA Championship Golf 2000 and reinstalled a number of times, but still have the blank spaces in the Course Manager. Obviously, after using Glary Utilities and Toolbox to do a registry clean, I've still got some files lingering somewhere that the Course Manager is seeing after it's ...

Re: A New Opfer Design?

If you didn't know, a higher number is less sensitive on the in game setting for mouse sensitivity so you want to push that higher. You may also be able to adjust it in your mouse properties in windows. I'm not the best person to ask about adjusting it though because I got used to it set pretty low...

Re: A New Opfer Design?

Hey Steve, Been a long time since I've heard your name, good to see you poking around again. I think you'll fall in love with the WGC game after you've downloaded some of the better courses and have given yourself a few rounds to get used to the feel. It's got the best ball and surface physics of a...
