Problem installing libraries
I've got a list of libes that I've attempted to install 3 different ways (under the C:\, SIERRA, and PGACE, and none of them are showing up on the program manager. Also I can't find any reference to the SG libe in the utilities/libraries section. A few of the libes are essentially for quite a few co...

Re: Hey gang.....
Everyone whose been around the game for more than a little while will always care, Terry! ;) Glad you're doing well. I've been fooling around with my new comp all afternoon. I forgot all about the disks Stan sent to me... geez has it really been 8 or 9 years ago??? He must be getting so much older! ...

Re: CL Set Up Utility
As Juliette said when the friar offered her the poison, "give me! give me!" I've been delaying reinstalling the game, dreading the thought of dl'ing and installing 2,000 courses/libraries.
Sorry I don't see a link here. Is it in utilities?

Re: Ultimate 18?
I'm a bit late on this. Someone did a "Mean 18" type of course a decade ago; sorry I can't recall the name of it, but I think it starts with a number. At any rate the largest beef was that it looked pretty much the same throughout. Of course that was in the days of dialup and limited memor...

Re: Forced design Choices in Architect?
Stakes are a designer's choice; AFAIK there's only one red "stake"; that's in the Princeville lib and it looks more like a pipe with a little 90 degree bend at the top than a stake. As far as that "buried walnut frame", what comes to my mind's eye is the brown edge between the sa...

Disks don't work, so... ???
Is the utility/reinstaller what I need to put PGA2K on my new computer? If so, are there any install issues on W-7 I need to know about?

Re: where our game went ...
Hi all, haven't been here for awhile. My computer died in January, I had some health problems through Feb and Mar and finally blew the tax check on a new W-7 model. I haven't reinstalled PGA2K yet and hope the disks still work; it's been about 9 years since I had to do it the last time. To the topic...

Re: Course design...how we do it
I did a couple of mini-tutorials several years ago which are probably still around somewhere in this area. Haven't touched the designer in a couple of years so my knowledge has become pretty rusty.

Re: Real Player Growth?
A couple of things to comment on/about. Re "pickups": IIRC you can't use them on the tour, or if you do (and stats are important) it won't record stats because it's not considered a regulation game. That really stinks if you're caught in one of those impossible situations because if you do...
