Boulder Pass

Post by Sundance »

ImageHappy Hollow Golf Complex in conjunction with Sundance Designs is happy to announce that the second course is in development, Boulder Pass. The Pass is a very different look from Hollow Trails but still offers the same beautiful scenery while challenging your golfing skills. Here is the first look at Boulder Pass a 483 yard par 4. Off the tee you have a large landing area that narrows down for the power hitters with two bunkers left and a concrete backed bunker on the right. Beware of these bunkers throughout the course as they are more extreme than the normal sand pits. The green requires a long iron and a delicate touch to find the slightly downhill green which is protected on either side by bunkers. The greens are mostly large at Boulder Pass and anything close to the pin is usually rewarded.

Looks fantastic, Steve. So glad you are still producing these gems for us to play. Love the way you have done those bunkers.

Cheers

Thanks Brad. Won't be quite as often but I'll still tinker here and there.

As an amateur chef, I thank you. LOl I really like the playing field textures on this one, the best I've ever done. Hopefully, you, the players, will also like them.

ImageAt 187 yards Hole #2 @ Boulder Pass is the shortest par 3 on the course. Facing a prevailing wind you must carry the massive bunker fronting the left side of the green whild avoiding the water that borders the right and rear of the green. As with the majority of the greens here, long putts will be a challenge so accuracy is crucial.Image

I suspect birdies will be few and far between on this challenging hole. Love the plantings and rockwork Steve.

Cheers
