Hi Rich,

I find this very interesting. If viable, it could open up the PGA2000 multiplayer world to many more players.
How much do you know about how to install and use this IPX emulator?

Sorry I didnt reply sooner to this post.

Ive had a look at it and basically it overwrites the existing winsock32 system on vista/7/8 so it might cause some issues in some newer games.

Connection via VPN Tunnel IPX/SPX.
==============================

Hamachi have improved their IPX link and conferencing system for multiple connections if someone has a good upload speed they could host the master and everyone connect as clients. The games inbuilt system should pick it up and the original lobbies and stuff from the old days will work. Ive already done a test using it with 3 other mates and it worked fine. The only bug we did find was if you get kicked from a game due to bad connection speed or low line speed then shut down any active programs that use the net and try again. Managed a full 18 hole game on stock Whisperwood with no problem.

The IPX configuration you will have to do manually in hte configuration, but its simple enough, like using Kali, once the connection to the master is up you also get online IRC chat over the link too. Give it a whurl, me an dar tried it unsuccessfully some years back but now it works well.

Scan it with your anti virus ware prior to running but this is the makers site. Any problem, email me. admin@pcdatalincs.co.uk
