Hi Steve, I watched your round last night. I thought you putted pretty well. The two bogeys you had were due to indifferent tee shots, but I do agree, it is easy to leave yourself cross-hill putts on these greens, which are never easy.

I also watched Galen's first round at Breezy Ridge. Another really solid round, that is right up there in the Handicap and Stableford events.

I played my second round at Worthington Chapel. I drove the ball somewhat erratically, on occasion, but managed to save myself with some decent scrambling and my trusty putter. I was, however, walking in a birdie on 15 when it suddenly took a look in the hole and didn't like what it saw, so instead of "Taking a jump to the left, it took a step to the right"!.

I really like the challenge of this course.

Cheers

Brad

Lee (my father in law) is stable right now, still in hospital. We're hoping to see him able to eat by the weekend.
Good news, Brad.

Worthington Rd 2. I've got a lot to learn. I spend most of my time scrambling to make par.

Hi Guys,

firstly, Tarheel, your Rd 3 comes up as being played on a different course. The Japanese symbols that represent the course name seem to confirm that it is either a different course, or a different version of the right course.

I watched Tarheel's Rd 2 at Arashiyama against my own and again there was very little in it. However, no matter how hard we tried we couldn't get close to Juan's terrific round.

Well played Juan.

I also had a look at Sundance's Rd 2 at Worthington Chapel. Another solid round, which cost him yet another shot on his handicap. It's starting to level out now that he has played quite a few rounds. Steve, those putts you missed only just missed, and par on any of these holes is not a bad result.

Cheers

Brad

I'm not sure what to do about that. I have no other course. Splash screen matches. Also, every course in the database here comes from my hard-drive (except very recent ones) as I uploaded them all when we had the database crash a couple years ago.

Hmm, actually, perhaps something was mislabeled?

Take a look at the splash picture on the original post where conditions are and see if it matches the course you all played? I'm thinking something is not matching up. My splash screen I played matches perfectly the picture posted earlier.

That is the correct splash screen I posted.

Round 2 at Breezy Ridge. Putter failed me too often. There is a confounding tree on the 18th hole. From the forward view it appears left of the fairway, but from the reverse view it appears on the opposite side.

Hibikinimori has this screen on my system, and I played this one this time. Last time I played the one matching the earlier posted pic:
