Breezy Gap Country Club Reference Guide
(Distances may vary due to pin placement)

Hole #1

Par 5, 469 yards--This is a very nice opening hole as it is an easy par 5, downhill 41 ft to a green guarded by creeks and bunkers. A good tee shot in the rolling fairway will allow the golfer to have an easy approach shot. The green is slightly banked from left to right, but eagles and birds should come in "flocks" here.

Hole #2

Par 4, 425 yards--downhill 27 ft to the pin, but the fairway is bi-sected twice by the creek, so the drive will be a critical shot. Too far, and par will be hard to get.

Hole #3

Par 3, 213 yards--a relatively easy par 3 with the green guarded in front by the creek.

Hole #4

Par 4, 403 yards--straight forward par 4 with the creek running on the right side, with a large waste area separating the green from the fairway.

Hole #5

Par 4, 377 yards--another easy par 4 with the creek running to the right and guarding the green in front. Should be a good birdie hole for accurate golfers.

Hole #6

Par 3, 189 yards--green is guarded in front by a large bunker, and behind by the creek. A good tee shot will produce many birdies.

Hole #7

Par 4, 411 yards--Tough to choose where to go here as the creek crosses the fairway twice. Go in between the creek bends, lay up short of the creek, go to the adjoining fairway to the left, or go for the farthest fairway at 315 yards? The green is one of the largest, so a bad approach shot could leave a putt of 40 yards.

Hole #8

Par 4, 368 yards--a fairly easy uphill hole with wide open spaces, and not much creek to worry about, except on a long shot over the green.

Hole #9

Par 4, 432 yards--another hole with the creek dividing the landing choices. Better grab the 3 wood and go for the middle fairway, or use the driver and go to the left, adjoining fairway. After landing safely, a good approach will yield a fair amount of birdies.

Hole #10

Par 5, 573 yards--This long par five requires planning from the tee to the putt. Lots of choices and paths to the green with the creek and bunkers guarding the entire hole. A tee shot straight forward will force the golfer to go over the trees on an approach shot of 300 yards, or a mid iron will allow the golfer a clear shot to the left fairway, with an easy 3rd approach shot to the green guarded in front by a large mound with the creek guarding the backside of the green.

Hole #11

Par 5, 549 yards--an easier long par 5 than #11, but still a challenge with a thin landing area guarded on the right by the creek. A good tee shot, and approach should yield some birds and eagles, but the green is another large one of over 50 yards in diameter in places. Easy to two or three putt this one.

Hole #12

Par 3, 199 yards--an easy par 3 with the green guarded in front by the creek and mounds. A short tee shot may allow the ball to roll back into the creek

Hole #13

Par 4, 482 yards--the hardest hole on the course has the creek taunting you on the right, and giant bunkers guarding both sides of the landing area. This dog leg left should be played with caution. The green is large and multi-level, so birds will be hard to come by on this hole.

Hole #14

Par 4, 372 yards--Multiple choices for the tee shot on this one as the creek guards the front and right of the landing area which is also guarded by two large bunkers. The green has ridges and multi-levels, and is guarded in the back by a large bunker.

Hole #15

Par 4, 395 yards--Perhaps the most choices of any hole on the course (depending on your game) with the creek running through and to the right of the fairway, and landing areas are all guarded by bunkers and water. The green is guarded in front by the creek, and on three sides by bunkers, and is multi-level with ridges, and very large.

Hole #16

Par 4, 376 yards--Another hole filled with choices. The creek runs through the fiarway creating multiple landing areas guarded by bunkers. A safe tee shot will yield an easy approach shot. This hole will produce many birdies, if the approach shot is close to the pin.

Hole #17

Par 3, 175 yards--an easy par three over the creek to a large green guarded by bunkers

Hole #18

Par 4, 425 yards--this closing hole's fairway is bi-sected by the creek, and guarded by bunkers throughout. An accurate tee shot to either the right or left fairway will leave a fairly easy approach to the green.
